There is no doubt many of you who, at his period of time (June 28 – July 2), observed the thousands of dead insects floating along the shoreline of the lake. Many even thought that they were dead bugs, which might create some form of contamination. This is not the case.
They are aquatic insects, day bugs or water flys, measuring about an inch, who die shortly after breeding. During this time of the year (end of June, beginning of July), the phenomenon is considered normal; there is nothing to worry about therefore. The life of these insects is but a few hours.
