Paddle Brome Lake 2021

Paddle Brome Lake with us on September 4th

 Join Renaissance Brome Lake’s Team on Saturday, September 4, to paddle the shoreline of Lake Brome. Enjoy a day on the water with others in the community who love to paddle our lake.  

Beginning at Douglass Beach at 7:00, the complete circuit is 19K and should take 5 hours. Staying 10-20M from shore, paddlers can join the guide group at focal points around the lake;

Bondville (Rue Montagne)-  10h15
Ruisseau Pearson – 10h30
Coldbrook – 10h45
Knowlton Marina – 11h00 

Returning to Douglass Beach for a socially distanced, bring your own picnic around 12h00.

Paddlers can join the group and paddle the shoreline nearest their homes. For those who begin along the shore and finish at Douglas Beach, Renaissance Brome Lake (RBL) will transport members and their watercraft back to their point of origin.

Your safety is your responsibility. Wear a life jacket whenever you are on the water. Also, review the Transport Canada human-powered craft safety guidelines (https://tc.canada.ca/en/marine-transportation/getting-started-safe-boating/operating-human-powered-craft).

Bring a good supply of water, snacks, and sun protection as well as your picnic. Bring a mask for the picnic, social distancing rules will be followed.

The paddle will be postponed to Sunday, September 5, if the weather does not cooperate. Check the RBL website (https://renaissancelbl.com) the morning of Saturday, September 4, for confirmation.
