Marc Decelles is no longer with us

Marc Decelles, a longtime Brome Lake shoreline dweller died on March 7, 2014 following a cruel and lengthy illness that never left him in peace, especially during the last few months of his life. He was 73 years old.

Marc Decelles was an ardent defender of Brome lake, its overall environment and in particular its wetlands. He was one of the four founders of the Brome Lake Land Foundation and, at the time of his death, still a member of its board of directors.

Mr. Decelles was also president of the Association for the Conservation of Brome Lake. In this capacity he conducted many epic struggles for the causes in which he so passionately believed.

Renaissance Brome Lake offers its sincere sympathies to Micheline, his wife, the Decelles and Croteau families and to Marc’s numerous colleagues and friends.
