Conservational organizations are essential

ACNSS_28juin2014A great watershed like Lac Brome’s (187 km2) includes several conservational organizations in each sector, which seek to protect and enhance wetlands, woodlands of interest, and ecologically important areas.

The Association for the Conservation of Nature of Stukely-Sud (ACNSS) is a first-class partner for Renaissance Brome Lake. ACNSS celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. On this occasion, the ACNSS unveiled two beautiful panels illustrating the importance of wetlands on Saturday, June 28. Several partners, including the city council of South Stukely, Renaissance Brome Lake and the Appalachian Corridor (ACA) were present.

Other organizations working in the region; include Brome Lake Land Foundation (1987) and Conservation Space Nature Shefford. Congratulations and thank you to all.
