The Board of Directors

Renaissance Brome Lake is administered by 11 volunteers who are, above all professionals dedicated to improving the quality of the water in the lake and its watershed.

Our congratulations to those who were elected to the board at the annual meeting held Saturday, May 12, 2018.

Thank you to the administrators who are leaving the board, Mélanie Bourassa-Fournier and Danielle Carter, Lucy Gagnon, Nadia St-Laurent and Michel Delorme.

Hélène Drouin – President  (2017-2019)

  • Member of Renaissance Brome Lake since 2006
  • Career as an inhalation therapist
  • Very conscious of public health issues
  • Would like to leave a healthy lake to her children
  • 4th generation living in Eastern Township

 

Pierre Fortier – Vice-president – (2016-2018 )

  • Member of the board of Renaissance Brome Lake since the spring of 2010
  • Retired engineer
  • Manages the water quality tracking (SQE) files as well as those pertaining to mapping and
  • rainfall metering.

 

 

Diane Degré – Treasurer – (2017-2019)

  • Member of Renaissance Brome Lake since 2007
  • In addition to producing regular monthly financial reports, works as part of a team in public awareness programs and events about the quality of the lake.
  • Treasurer of Renaissance Brome Lake from 2009 until now.

Patrick Binckly – Secretary – (2018 – 2020)

  • Resident of the Brome Lake (Stukely-South) watershed for over 20 years.
  • Administrator of the Stukely-South Nature Conservation Association (ACNSS) since 2017.
  • Aware of the fragility of our environment and the efforts to be made to improve it.

  • Resident at Brome Lake (as often as possible) for 6 years.Yves
  • Member of the Board of Directors of Renaissance Lac Brome since November 2018
  • Sensitize residents and boaters to the beauty and fragile riches of the lake … and ESPECIALLY … encourage them to do the right thing to preserve this ecosystem.

  • Proud resident of Brome-Missisquoi since 1996.
  • Mom of four frisky mosquitoes and passionate nature.
  • Specialist in integrated pest management.
